At the age of 15 I "dropped out" of High School; it was dull, unimaginative, and the teachers often didn't know much more then what was in the text book. While I myself didn't know much more then they did, I was able to challenge their knowledge with common sense, and ask the questions that they didn't know the answer to. Their lack of knowledge, and my desire for knowledge, encouraged me to "drop out" and enroll in a local community college with a promising Engineering Program with a Direct Connect option to the University of Central Florida.
In 2008 I was approached by an old friend, Brandon, with an idea about a new type of green energy. Being an Aerospace and Mechanical Engineer major, I seemed like a helpful mind to enlist. Brandon was attending Lyman HS, an engineering focused HS; his focus being on Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. Being in college, I was restricted to taking the mathematical foundation courses that built up to the true engineering courses. Brandon being in HS, was not offered the mathematical foundation class, but offered the true engineering courses.
*(Foundation courses being Calc, Physics, Physics+Calc, etc etc etc; True Engineering courses being Engineering Concepts, building, designing, and using imagination to develop great things).
We combined my mathematical knowledge with his engineering knowledge to do great things and create great ideas. Ideas that we are still moving forward in today, hence the creation of this blog.
We are convinced our product will work; but we don't know a whole lot about the Green Technology World or the Business of Green Technology. After a little research I became aware that the task of educating myself on the topic was going to be a difficult and long standing task. To help motivate my way through the task I have decided to write this blog and fill it with information that I learn through my research. I will use the blog to document my findings and to bounce thoughts off of readers. Please challenge my thoughts and knowledge at all blogs, it will only help me evolve my knowledge of Green Technology, and technology in general.
**(I am also going to try and use this blog as a selling point with future and potential investors) ;)
***(Additionally I am no longer an Engineering Major, while engineering is fun I found my true passion in Business)
